Just wanted to comment that I love cutting the grass in the rain for some reason. Also finally setup my first two Earthboxes, pretty cool product. You set it up with a years worth of Dolomite and fertilizer and water it. Just fill at the watering tube once a day. The one with a trellis has one better boy type tomato and one roma tomato. The other one has pole beans and peas on the left open spot, two bell peppers, basil and parsley. It will get a trellis too for the peas and beans, assuming they will occupy the top half of the trellis. Looks like I can buy a trellis extension too, might end up with a couple of those by the end of the year, we'll see. Attachments:

We grow a few hot pepper plants every year along with basil, oregano, and parsley. We generally keep it simple. The hot peppers include cayenne, jalapeno, Anaheim, and serrano peppers. Great for pasta sauces which is mostly for what I use them.

You think you have it all cleaned up then winter just shoves more to the surface.

Great for pasta sauces which is mostly for what I use them. I ripped out our strawberry patch this year and went with a garden. A bunch of tomatoes, green and yellow peppers, jalapeno & herbs similar to yours. I also mentioned something to my mother in law about not having enough hot peppers. She got me a damn ghost pepper plant. What in the holy hell am I going to do with that thing??? Also, G&T - do you have a riding mower? Because my regular lawnmower hates when the ground is wet so I always avoid even mowing AFTER it rains.

Our backyard has a big area that's all topsoil for gardening, but we moved too late in the year to plant anything. Next year maybe.

Mowing when it's wet makes a mucky mess in the blade case. Who wants to rinse their mower down after mowing?
The only thing I'm rinsing is cold beer down my throat.

That tree in the back of my Earthboxes is the Cleveland Flowering Pear I bought last year, thing was very cool covered in white flowers this "spring".

Just finished tilling the pumpkin patch for the last time. I think I make it bigger every year. I think it's now 45X100, roughly

I'm excited about my garden. That either means I'm old, crazy or both.
I'll go with both.

Do you have to stake or cage tomatoes or can you just let them go?
I realize if they snap that's not good but I'm talking more like you just let them grow to the side from the get go.
