I also have a 12 guage Mossberg with a 18.5 inch barrel for home defense. It's cheap, dependable & effective. Same goes for the 870 or any reliable 12 guage.

I love a Persauder. It was my favorite shotgun before I got the 1187-P. A lot of people like it because they think the click-clack of the pump action will scare off any intruders. It can also alert them to get their shit ready. Fucking assholes come into my house better have good hearing because clicking the safety off barely makes a sound.
I'm not sure why they went with the knob type grip on that one. Must have wanted it to look more like the old timey sawed-offs. I would have left an extra inch or so on the barrel and kept the pistol grip.

Trying to order a lower but my cheap FFL has gone MIA. He lives a couple streets down so maybe I'll go check on him tomorrow.

My mossy won't have the click clack of a round being chambered. It's ready to rock.

This place has few enough posters without you assholes trying to help Diz accidentally blast his head off. He clearly lacks the mental capacity required to be a responsible gun owner. Diz - take the $ to the Bunny Ranch and get a piece (instead of a piece). And if you still want to shoot something we'll get you this for Christmas: But if you take the sucker tips off we are gonna take it away again.

You know, bobby came in and pushed his gun control agenda, but I really can't debate it here.

My mossy won't have the click clack of a round being chambered. It's ready to rock. I have my 1187 loaded Buck, Brenneke Slug, Buck, Buck, Buck. I figure what if you get in a situation where you need a more precise shot? Chamber the second round and put the Buckshot back in the tube. Now you have a really big rifle.

Also, this is not a very practical weapon. The spread would be instant and would kill -- who knows? Someone in front of you? I suppose if it's mostly an indoor thing and you've got support it's not a bad weapon, but it certainly wouldn't be as it's portrayed in the film.

best line I saw on Twitter yesterday:
Yes, Bob Costas, guns are the problem. Nicole Brown Simpson would be alive today if OJ hadn't shot her with that knife.

I'm planning on building one using PSA. I have read good reviews regarding their products.

True. I was talking more about the quality. Not saying Bushmaster isn't good.

This will be available in the US in the next year or so. They built it with two triggers to get around Class III? Pretty slick. I imagine two .45's is a pretty big kick. I'll have to call over to the machine gun range to see if they're going to get one.

I am guessing something in the Javvy market.

Obama has to be the greatest gun salesman ever. Went to pick up a .22 for our oldest for Christmas yesterday at the local store and you could not find a place to park. Other than a few handguns and a few shotguns there was only class III left. They could not even get through on the phone lines to do the background checks. After waiting on them to get through for about 30 minutes I just asked them to call me when they got a line. About 3 hours later they called & said I could pick it up. Went back after work and you still couldn't find a place to park.
Luckily he was holding the .22 for me or I would have been shit out of luck.

I'm trying to talk the wife into letting me spend 1500 on an AR-15. She's being unreasonable right now.

I think that in the wake of this most recent shooting, the best answer is to allow for a higher level concealed permit. This would allow you to legally carry in schools and at your office.
