Honestly I could live with this.
Lynch will have a learning curve so hopefully Josh and Bob can stay healthy.

I think if it goes in this order I'd want Lynch.

I see a lot of people have us taking Zeke. As much as i like him and think he will have a good NFL career, i can't see us going RB at 8.

Actually looking at this, why wouldn't we trade down here? To like 15? The only concern would be the Jets coming up and taking Lynch but other than that nobody is taking him until 20.
Don't get me wrong, I'd rather sit and get Jack or Buckner, but if they are gone trade out, get more picks and get your QB.
God damn it.

I wish Hoyer would've signed when he was in NY the other day.

They're trading down again. A homeless guy tipped me off.

I honestly don't think Lynch is a target.
If they legit wanted a QB they should have stayed and taken the guy they wanted - I believe the plan is to with Josh, RGIII, and possibly pick someone up that gets cut. I also still think Jackson is calling the Bengals for McKarron.
I think Zeke is a target - I think it's similar to the Rams and Gurley last year, he would take an enormous amount of pressure off a RGIII or a guy we draft late or next year.
Let's not forget how cocky NFL coaches are - they probably see a lot more talent on the roster than we do and think they can coach some of these recent draft picks up - Irving, Shelton, Orchard specifically.

That said, I'll also be surprised if they actually pick at 8. I think another trade down is almost a certainty.
Also, very interesting that Mikey brought up AJ. Had someone tell me that the feeling in Berea is that the plan is to give RG3 this year and next to see if he can get it together, draft someone they can develop as a backup, but that if Bob doesn't pan out they have a veteran backup plan. AJ' s contract expires in 2 years.

AJ McCarron is destined to be great. I loved him coming out & got blasted for it. I have been wrong like twice on my life.

What if they are like a few of us are & think Lynch & Wentz are about equal & both projects. It's a brilliant move if so.

With the lack of QB interest talk in the press conference today and they may or may not look at QB later in the draft and how they already have four quarterbacks competing I think Lynch may be the target.
You never know with these pre-draft pressers.

I was listening to 92.3 today and the hosts paraphrased something I guess Hue said in his presser. A reported started off a question with "Goff and Wentz were the top two QBs in the draft..." and Hue said something to the effect of "Who says so?" or "According to who?"

Can you do a complete synopsis of the interview so Flats doesn't have to watch it?

No matter who they select we'll be fed the standard "we got our guy" BS even if they were out maneuvered and/or caught with their pants down.
