So with the trade deadline coming up next Tuesday who thinks some team out there will offer Joe a deal he can't pass up?

There is rumored to be 3 offers on the table for Josh. All including a high round and a player. Joe is playing hard ball though.

Adam Schefter @adamschefter 55m At least 3 teams have contacted Browns about deal for WR Josh Gordon; two have standing offers of a high pick and a player. Browns balking.

Mallett & a 3rd for Gordon. Who here does it? Who says no? Well without a QB to get the ball to Gordon I say deal. You can still get a QB and WR in the first if you feel the need.

If Mallet is the guy -- yes. All day long. Belichick keeps his hands around draft picks tighter than Billy Graham's scphinter musle in a room for of homos.

Mallett looks like Weeden II to me. Could be or maybe not. We have 2 first round picks and Hoyer in the back pocket. Get a WR and a QB in the first next draft if Mallet weeds. If not we could be QB heavy.

Aaron Rodgers showed us yesterday that it doesn't matter what scrub you put out there. We need a QB, I still think that guy is Hoyer. The good thing about his injury is it happened "early" this year in football terms anyway. Looking at Mallett's highlight's on YouTube which is all I got he's looks slow like Weeden to me. I don't see the value in trading a #1 WR talent for an unknown at QB.

Mallett & a 3rd for Gordon. Who here does it? Who says no? I am not trading Gordon. He is the best player on the offense and the spark that we need. It's not easy to come across a #1 receiver just like it's not easy to come across a franchise QB. I don't see letting go of one for the other (maybe) as a good idea. We know what we have with Josh.

Well it comes with a caveat. Think about it, if the Browns are trading for Mallett they are buying that he can be their franchise QB. I kind of trust their eyes right now. I mean they saw something in Hoyer.

Gordon is an elite receiver. It does SEEM that he doesn't GAF sometimes, but that's watching TV who knows the reality.
Mallett is an unknown. I never watched him in college but everything I see on YouTube he looks like Weeden. Would Weeden benefit from three years under Brady?
The FO did not know what they had in Hoyer, and maybe still don't, his two starts are against one of the worst teams in the NFL and the Bengals. If they knew he would have started the Miami game.
