Perfect timing, I just walked in.
My son is rooting for Kahne because his car is blue. My daughter is rooting for Danica because she's a girl. I'm rooting for the Busch kid because I like Peanut M & M's, and my wife is rooting for the guy with a skull and crossbones on his hood.

I've now watched (most of) a NASCAR race. None of our ponies won. At least no one died this year.

I turned it on with 30 laps to go. That's all i really need to see right! The old lady walks in the room, i have no idea what happened in that race. Im not upset about it either.

Oh shit, a fatal accident shut down the 15 at Cheyenne and the whole thing is a parking lot. I guess most of the people who watched the race are still there.

Plus, LVB up there is only one lane each way. Though they might shut down Northbound traffic and make it two lanes because of the race. Even so, they're fooked. I said think about all of the people who have been drinking beer all day and are fighting over sips of an 80 degree water sitting in their car since the morning. People that still have full coolers could make a nice buck.

Turn your car off, fire up the grill, and throw some more corn hole.

The news said they were trying to get most people out via the 215 West. I'm not sure how. I guess if the 15 frontage road isn't completely jammed up, you could connect the dots. Still wouldn't be worth a shit to anyone not going to Summerlin. You'd have to get off around Aliante and work your way down to MLK and get back on the 15 further south.

I just realized I've lived in 3 different houses, not one of which was built when you left in '05. Do you know they're building a water park in Summerlin South? Remember where Fort Apache used to stop about a mile south of Southern Hills Hospital? Well it doesn't stop there anymore, and there's going to be a water park. wetnwildlasvegas.com/

Do they ever alternate the direction drivers go on the track? So they make right turns instead of left turns? Do it like odd years are left years, and even years are right years? Sorta like switching ends of the field in football?

Yea, somewhere right there. Right on the Strip. The Hard Rock used to have their company picnics there. We used to have somebody hand a cooler over the back wall full of beer. (sneaky)

Been to the Bristol night race in August a couple times, great venue, great area to hang out. www.nascar.com/en_us/sprint-cup-series/schedule/tracks/bristol-motor-speedway.htmlYou can still carry your cooler and gear into the track. NASCAR never went pussy with that stuff. We carried a case of beer on ice and sandwiches in last time. Plenty of room under your seat for the coolers too. This is the one I like to carry in, can hold 18 beers, ice and a couple sammys.

(sneaky) That whole area is dead now, the Strip basically ends at Desert Inn. The Riviera and Stratosphere might as well be downtown. Boyd Gaming just sold the land where Stardust and Westward Ho used to be to an Asian gaming company who instead of resuming construction on Echelon Place are going to build this thing: They're calling it "Resorts World". From the same people who named Hello Kitty. Better than a hole in the ground I guess. I would have preferred a resort where all of the towers looked like the Stardust, the Dunes, the Landmark, the Sands, Hacienda, New Frontier etc.

Many times in Michigan, we used to have a school bus with a deck on the top,a/c, bathroom, and bunks. $20 a head.
