Daytona 500 coming up... Yesterday's race was crazy at the end, Danica wasn't the highest finishing woman in the race. Looking forward to see if she gets any help today, she has a seriously fast car and she knows how to drive it. I've seen her drive live a couple times and watched her in many other races, all she needs now are friends on the track. Will be interesting to see how it turns out. I could give a shit about all of the personal talk about her, you only hear it because she's a she. Side-drafting is the big story with the new Gen 6 car, Kyle Busch is supposedly teaching everyone else how to do it. Denny Hamlin looks lost. Matt Kenseth looks renewed in that JGR 20. JR has a fast ride and probably the best plate-track skills next to Toni Stewart and his open-wheel history. This could shape up to be one pf the greatest races ever IMO. Yesterday's was excellent and I normally sleep during the Nationwide race. If you haven't seen the finish Kyle Larson's car partially went through the fence and sent a bunch of people to the hospital. Crazy shit. His engine and a front axle tangled up in the fence. Danica was the hottest chick to race yesterday.

Hope she leads the first lap at least. I enjoy her being evolved. Wonder what my dad would have thought of her racing?
Let's see if they can keep the car parts out of everybody's seats this time.

Patrick's crew chief said he's been holding her back for 4 days, turning her loose today.

I'll tell you what. The time we put in on that Papyrus/Sierra simulator gave me a whole different prospective when watching races.
My dad took us to Talladega and gave me, my mom and brother a sunburn none of us will ever forget when I was about 12 yrs old, so I've seen a few races.
But I've never had the kind of respect watching a race as I have after driving that Sim on a regular basis with other "live" drivers. A real eye opening experience. Truly a fun time and I thank you very much for involving me when you did. Good memories.
I've done the Ride-A-Round 2X at Vegas and that was awesome. I wish I had the money to do the school and run a few laps myself. I did sit in on the school briefing once before they went out and ran. Pretty neat.

Yeah I've been thinking about hooking up my wheel again... Will it work on Win 8? I mean, the wheel, the software... ?? My SSD and new CPU will be here Monday. Then I will do the Win 8 install. I guess the "on sale" version I got was an upgrade, but there is a way to do a registry edit and it will clean install without the previous version. Or so the dude from Newegg says...

You know damn well many are rooting against her.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Danica win. Only thing that would piss them off more is if 50 cent won.

"keep us abreast" and "feel it out" in the current discussion about Patrick.

Did Danica's crew chief just tell her to keep him "abreast" of the vibration she was feeling??
