1 hour left on the trade deadline.
Cavs are looking, but I don't expect any deals made.
I do expect the Cavs to make Greg Oden an offer before the end of the day though.

if you were a Trailblazer fan would you just kill yourself?
Pass on Jordan for Bowie, pass on Durant for Oden...

I heard Greg Oden was going to wait until the offseason. Heard that too, but I can't think of any benefit to him for doing that. His value won't increase between now and then. There are several bigs coming out in the draft that could shrink the number of teams considering him. And if there's an offer now, with HIS injury history, I sign it before I slip in the tub and shatter my pelvis.

When they took Oden I posted that no one remembered the Spike Lee / Jordan commercial about Portland wanting a big man. Individual players are so much more valuable in basketball that I don't think anyone could compare to those two mistakes.

Cavs-Bulls on NBAtv right now. Kyrie out though. Two great college games on ESPN & ESPN2. BTW, I am running an insane College Hoops pool that includes conference tourneys. Its due next Tuesday though so if interested PM me as I need $ & picks then. Only a couple here ever seem interested in these.

there is no franchise type player to build around, that's for sure.
But we have that piece, just need to keep adding complementary pieces to it.

Has the switch finally been flipped for Waiters? 26, 25, and 23 points in his last 3 games. Won the last two with Kyrie out of the lineup. He's still not playing defense - but no one on the team is. The Jon Leuer trade was a real shot in the arm to this season. Ellington and Speights are both real contributors from the bench. Leuer meanwhile is averaging 2 minutes and under 1 point a game for Memphis. Looks likely that Speights will be moving on this offseason, but we've still got a first round pick coming our way too as part of the deal. The Cavs had a winning record in February. First winning month we've had since LeBron shivved us. Good article on Kyrie's backup that's worth checking out too. Livingston was a low risk - medium reward pickup. So far he looks to be panning out for us. www.grantland.com/story/_/id/8934761/on-career-shaun-livingston-survived-one-worst-injuries-nba-history
