I did watch the final 4 but apparently the guy didn't do anything for me to remember his name so......
And looking him up he's done nothing in the NBA except get traded after 51 games into his rookie campaign and now he's getting traded again? Whats the deal with that?

He was Kansas' best player that year diz.
I'm not saying he's great but not like you are getting anything better at 19.

I have no fucking clue what they're gonna do. I can make arguments for and against each of the top guys. Noel's the obvious pick, but he's got no O and is just weird physically. Len's the prototype, but he did jack in school. Mclemore's gifted, but a zero between the ears. Oladipo plays great d and improved his O big time, but he's too small to play SG for Brown, much less the three. Porter is ok... but Porter is just ok. Bennett is fun to watch in college, but those tweeners aren't usually having much fun once thy get to the pros.
Ultimately, I like Grant and will trust his pick. I'll look on the bright side of my "for and against" argument and get excited about whatever they do. But if I were making the decision it would be Otto Porter. 2 years ago I thought we should probably just bite the bullet and take Leonard at 4 - best SF in the draft to fill our gaping hole there. Last year I thought the same thing about taking Barnes at 4. This year I say just do it. Best player at our biggest need. Take him and don't look back.
Maybe I'm biased because of all the Tayshaun Prince comparisons - I loved Prince's game back with the Pistons. Folks say you can't take a Tayshaun Prince first overall. I say you can if the rest of the class is Hasheem Thabeet, Michael Beasley, Derrick Williams, Jimmer Fredette ...

I'm with you on that - the argument is that at #1 you take a guy you build the team around, well we already have that guy. So now you pick the most complimentary player for him. I am really starting to think they'll take Noel because of his D, but then I realize that doesn't help with Gilbert's playoffs or bust demand this year.

They should just draft as low as they can. They'll get bigger bang for the buck and minimize the impact of missing, which they will probably do at 1.

I like the pick just didn't expect it because of Triston. Best talent must of been the plan.

I like it too. Much better than taking one of those two injured centers. Larry Johnson part 2.

Grant shocks me again. Bennett was last on my list of guys I thought we would take. But a lot of big names took serious tumbles tonight.
Karasev falling to us at 19 was pretty sweet. I don't know dick about that guard we got at 33.

Let off some steam, Bennett!
I hardly expected this, but I'm glad we didn't take the Kid & Play reject with the bum knee.

three picks in the top 33 and we still don't have a 3?
I guess they really do think they can bring Lebron back.
