This team's pitching is dangerous if they get anywhere near the playoffs. Hoping they go get a bat at the trade deadline.

Last time i saw, they were the 3rd worst team in the Majors. They are like 5 out of the Wildcard and like we've seen before they tend to be a 2nd half team. It's not a good shot but they are far from dead with this pitching.

I barely watch anymore honestly. Normally busy until the last couple innings so if its close I watch the end here and there.
But I pay attention to how they did and such.

Another win in the books. Wish we had a big bat. With pitching like this the sun should be shining much brighter.

Everyone wants the big 40 HR cleanup hitter but look around baseball, the best teams have pitching. We could use a bat & I think they will go get one should this continue. But the key is the pitching. We have a solid starting 5 & a set pen. Big.

Indians Set Record with 4 Starters Reaching 100 Strikeouts Before All-Star Break Cleveland Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer reached 100 strikeouts for the season during Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Houston Astros, making the Indians the first team in major league history to have four starters record 100 strikeouts before the All-Star break, per MLB Stat of the Day. bleacherreport.com/articles/2519042-indians-set-record-with-4-starters-reaching-100-strikeouts-before-all-star-break

I still say, no true power hitter, no playoffs. Also, what brings fans to the games? Exciting play and as important as pitching is, it's not going to pack the stadium. Pitching is not fun to watch unless you're watching a no no.

Pitching is not fun to watch unless you're watching a no no. Tell me who the Royals & Giants "true" power hitters are. As for packing the stadium, that ship has sailed bud, don't make me explain the perfect storm again. Cleveland isn't a baseball town until late summer if they are there. Winning brings the fans. the fans will come in September if they are there. The Cavs are nothing without Lebron. The Indians are nothing until late summer now unless they are right there Meanwhile the. Browns can go 3-13 & here we are.

They are drawing less than 10,000 in some July games, it's sad. I understand the perfect storm, i also understand if the team was entertaining and scored runs fans would be more apt to go watch the games. I'm not saying they would pack the stadium but 10,000 in July? C'mon Man.
Where has pitching gotten them the past 4 or so years that they've had a good staff? No where! They've needed a power hitter for years and they sign washed up vets for tons of money that can't stay on the field.
Cleveland can't support 3 teams, they should move one.

To be fair they were in the playoffs two years ago with 92 wins and won 85 last year. They haven't exactly sucked.
I agree the signings of Swisher and Bourn look like shit. It's better to sign one good player than 3 average ones, always have stood by that.
Everytime I ask you who they should have signed though you have no answer, because any legit power hitter in his prime costs too much for this market. That's baseball, that's not the Indians. Its the same reason CC & Lee had to go (BTW, those trades everyone bitched about? - Brantley & Carrasco were gained from them - and both CC & Lee are washed up)
The drafting has gotten much better. They were horrible at that for years. If your argument for hating the Dolans was they should have fired the front office because of that? Legit. If its they are cheap? Not legit.
The Indians have good young players in Kluber, Carrasco, Bauer, Salazar, Allen, Kipnis, Brantley, Lindor, & Santana. And they are right there. Again.
But you are saying if they scored more runs fans would go? I don't. I think the city is what it is regarding baseball. Everyone always points to a 10 year window that was unrealistic when thinking of baseball in Cleveland. Baseball in Cleveland is "I'll get interested in late July or August if they are around"

Cleveland is a football town and always has been. The tribe would attract more people if they were winning like the Cavs.

Blue Jays vs. Cubs would be a fun World Series. Back to the Future II predicted a Cubs title in 2015. Carry on.

Yeah, but they said it would be over Miami. I don't think Miami even made the playoffs. Pfft.
