Do you platoon Reynolds and Chisenhall or give it to Lonnie and put Reynolds into the 1B/DH rotation for the most part? Reynolds looks lost and Chisenhall was hitting well headed into the break.

Let Lonnie play. Reynolds is killing me. Started off so well, if he only dropped off a little, they'd be in first place.

I have this sick belief that Reynolds will pull out of it any day now and just kick ass the rest of the way, but every AB he has just crushes my dreams. Lonnie has been doing a lot better but I'm still not 100% sold on him. At this point I'd still platoon them as long as we stay around 1.5-2 GB, but if we get into any skid you've got to cut Reynolds loose. Just can't give away ABs like that - not this far into the season.

Reynolds is a strike out machine. When you have a team with nobody hitting over 300 but still sitting at the top of the league in runs, a strike out king isn't a good thing. Let Lonnie play and sit Reynolds we need runners on base.

Lonnie should be at 3b, Swish at 1b, Gomes at C and Santana DH most nights. When one of those guys needs a night off, you adjust accordingly and put Reynolds in until he snaps out of this.
