So every year the Cavs do a whole big video thing that plays before the player introductions. This years is a bit unique in that it features no players in it, a first. This was a condition, an order if you will, from the Cavs to the company that makes these videos. Reason behind it is simple, this roster is going to see a big turnover this year. Jamison, Parker, and Sessions will not be on this roster come seasons end. With the shortened season, the Cavs anticipate trades happening much earlier in the season than normal. Jamison could end up in LA as part of the Odom TPE they have, along with Sessions possibly also, with the Cavs taking back Luke Walton.
The Cavs are going to load up on draft picks, and build the team around the core of Irving, Thompson, and Andy. The think that core, along with role players like Caspi, Gee, and Samuels, and another very high lottery pick will attract a top tier FA. That seems to be the plan.

Here is the video. In years past players did the speaking role of the guy that looks like they grabbed at any RTA bus stop in Cleveland. It was done this way because it is much easier to swap out video clips once the players are gone than it is to have a player record a segment in season. www.nba.com/cavaliers/video/2011/12/29/open111229-1948258

Surprised that Tristan and Kyrie wouldn't be used. This I bet isn't a one year thing, I bet this is gonna be a LBJ thing where they make sure one guy isn't bigger than the Cavs.
