Likeable for sure, but his offense is dreadful, his coaching staff is dreadful, and the team is lost. He game plans suck, he makes no adjustments on the fly -- just another bald loser.
Good riddance.

Kind of covered this in the game thread. I really don't want to see it blown up again but fuck. Maybe at least hire an OC but I think Hue's ego is too big for that.

We’ve got a good oline and decent running backs.
We’ve got shit at WR and a 21 year old QB.
This isn’t that hard. We shouldn’t be throwing 60 times and handing off 5. Hue is calling plays like a 22 year old high school coach that thinks he’s the next Chip Kelley.

I'm not sold on Crowell. I see every other team with a much more dynamic running backs. Quite frankly, he reminds me a lot of Trent Richardson. Sad!

Watched the game on DVR. Awful. Hue Shurmer has to go.

Maybe give Kizer a rest for some games? Same receivers.

Players have given up -- don't respect coaching staff -- Hue is gone at the bye week -- "Tabes" takes over and goes 8-0 to finish the season.
I feel it in my bones.

In principle I’m against firing Hue before he’s had three years. But his play calling is making that impossible.

Yeah, a new OC will fix it. New offense. New terminology. New learning curve.

Randy Lerner’s winning % over the ten years he owned the team = 34%. (55-105)
Jimmy Haslem’s winning % over the five years he’s owned the team = 23%. (20-66)

I couldn't imagine the frustration the Haslams experience about this team. Beyond embarrassment. These are proud, successful people. While I don't feel sorry for them, they have to have many sleepless nights.
They can't blow this up -- Hue and Sashi will get another year.
They'll make Hue get an OC -- make Sashi get a "football guy" -- probably fire a coordinator (hopefully Tabes.)

Peyton is a smart football player but how would he help turn it around? Everyone points to Ozzy but he started with scouting and worked his way up. It wasn't a just go from HoF tight end to top football GM in a day thing.

Nobody will work for Haslam, that's why Sashi is running the show. The only way they can hire a new GM, Coach, etc. is by getting somebody like Peyton in here that people in the industry respect and will work with.

Not saying I wouldn't welcome Manning with open arms but he has life by the string. Not sure he'd want to come to this disaster. Yeah they can offer a shit ton of money but I would find it hard to believe he's looking for money. He has so many options at this point of life I'd think joining the Browns would be the last thing he'd be looking for.
