Nice night out of Jeff Green. If he blossoms here in a backup role, his size and athleticism will be a real asset against the Warriors. And would make me feel less pissy about dumping Richard Jefferson.

2 games in, that's a record of games in a row for him. Cavs should count themselves lucky

LeBron ends the Cavs four game skid with one of the greatest offensive performances of his career. 57 points, with only one 3 pointer. Dude was an absolute bull around the rim

I’ve caught a couple Cavs games in the past week, and there’s a lot to be encouraged about.
I liked the Jeff Green addition, and I was right. He’s really fitting in.
I hated the Jose Calderon addition, and I was wrong. He looks to be totally revitalized by playing on a contender. He’s working well with Tristan especially, recreating that lob TT and Delly used to be so effective with. Calderon came here a flat bald tire. But he’s been plugged and retreaded, and is clearly having a blast out there.
Cedi Osman is struggling to adjust to defending NBA players. He doesn’t know where to be, or gets there late and in bad position. I don’t see how he could get a single minute of postseason playing time. That said, he’s an exciting young prospect. He’s got great size and athleticism. He’s effective on the fast break, and has a decent shot. He has a lot of value - just not to us (or any team looking to win it all this year). But if you’re a team that’s a few years away, or are going to rebuild mode, he should be a very attractive asset. If a superstar becomes available at the trade deadline Cedi wouldn’t just be a throw-in. Him and that top pick would be the start of a strong offer.

Those trades sure appear to be working. Younger. More athletic. Rejuvenated team. Team heads to the All Star Break looking like legit contenders. Love it.

At least a fun team to watch again.
It’s cool to have Larry Nance Jr. as a Cav, and his interior defense is a welcome addition.
Clarkson already seems to be falling into the Delonte West/JR Smith mold of a misfit-toy sorta guy who winds up flourishing next to LeBron. If he can keep hitting these looks he’s getting that salary the Lakers we’re eager to dump on us won’t look so bad.
George Hill looks like just what the doctor ordered so far. The Cavs traded one nutjob All Star point guard for another this past offseason. Hill isn’t an all star, but he’s not a locker room cancer either. He seems like a pros pro. He’ll run the point and make the right pass when he needs to. Other times he’ll let LeBron drive the offense, and put himself in position to catch and shoot. He’ll read his scouting reports on upcoming opponents and be prepared to play defense. The PG position needed settled down. He’s a steady veteran hand.

Cedi Osman really doesn’t need to be starting right now though. He’s still a player I think has a bright future in the league. He played some great D on Kyrie the other night. But he’s soooo raw. Very inconsistent right now on both ends of the court.

If you aren't watching Cavs games right now you should.
I don't know if we can beat GSW. I don't know if this new roster is just what we needed, or if it'll get torn apart like wet tissue paper.
But I know LeBron is the greatest basketball player who's ever lived, playing the greatest basketball that's ever been played right now, and it's a thing to behold.

Yeah Lebron is out of his mind right now. I like the roster. They'll be in the Finals. And I Agree that I'm not sure what else happens after that.

GSW will be beaten and wont make it to the championship so we have a chance because i'm pretty sure when GS is up against the wall and they know they are done, they will injure a star player
