With an NFL caliber OC/HC Alex would be an ideal quarterback to mentor and bridge the gap for a rookie. Two questions: 1 Do the Browns have an NFL caliber OC/HC? 2 What would it cost to trade for Alex? He should be available for a third round pick. They may have to offer a second rounder but they have plenty of ammunition to get it done. Problem is it will be wasted unless question one is answered. Exactly why they should have dumped Hue's loser ass and started fresh with a new system that both the veteran QB and the newly drafted QB could learn from day 1. Now, it's a huge mess next year or whenever it happens that Hue is replaced and everyone has to start from scratch AGAIN and another wasted year/s. The only person that benefits from keeping Hue Jackson is John Dorsey. More time and money in his pocket. Haslam also benefits by not having to pay another head coach. Cheap bastard.

Can anyone imagine an MLB manager going 10-314 over the course of two seasons? Then being brought back for a third? Because that’s Hue Jackson’s winning percentage.

None of it makes sense. I do hope that by some unthinkable reason it works out but I just don't see it happening. As we all agree it's just a waste of a season for no reason.

You can't compare this organization to anything or anyone else. They're in a league of their own in futility.

Let's throw another parade!

Now some of the players are coming out against the fans that supported the parade.
This will turn out great I'm sure.
Let me start..
Ogbah & Shelton playing the "real fan" card is amusing when the new GM just said the Browns don't have any "real football players".

I saw where LC Bentley chimed in and basically told players to temper their emotions. Talked about what the city and fan base has had to endure over the years.
I was against the parade shit but these current players really don't have any idea what we've had to experience the last 20 years.

Kirksey
Don’t kick us when we’re down. Lift us up. When we win don’t praise us because I will remember when yal laughed us.
Bentley
You have no idea to the depths of frustrations that city has endured. Don't get this confused. You're in the entertaiment business. You're just a # on a jersey. When y'all win, fans will be there, just as they have been for years of losing.

Blake Bortles has won every NFL playoff game he's played in.

The thing that scares me about Darnold is the turnovers not just the picks but the fumbles too. He also needs to work on his mechanics and decision making. I hope like hell they bring in a reliable vet no matter who they decide to go with. I really wonder how different Kizer would be today if they had kept McCown and not thrown Kizer to the wolves week one. Rosen turns it over a lot too, particularly in the red zone.

Hence the reason I want a capable vet to ease the process.

Ok, I saw some parade clips on sportcenter, and the guy who made the float where he’s riding an inflatable swan around is a fucking genius.

I do too but I keep hearing about Darnold & turnovers. That's because turnovers are pretty much the only knock on Darnold. He has mechanics issues and some bad decisions making but attribute those are a good reason for the turnovers. The other quarterbacks have more issues IMO. Whether it's size, maturity, lack of desire or whatever. So when I mention turnovers I mean that's basically all that concerns me about Darnold. With better mechanics and decision making the turnovers should come down.

Guess my QB scouting will be light this year. It's pretty much down to Rosen or Darnold.

Guess my QB scouting will be light this year. It's pretty much down to Rosen or Darnold. Basically. There will be the Allen, Mayfield, Jackson and other who will have people pimping them but at this point I think it's Darnold and Rosen.

I like Darnold. Especially if you get Smith or Cousins. But Rosen will do as well.

I don't know if I really like on over the other. But you like Allen? Why? I can see the Browns signing a vet, taking Barkley at 1 and Allen being the best QB left on the board at 4.
