1. Instead of referring to him as JG please note the correct spelling of his last name. Same people that refer to Roethlisberger as Big Ben because they can't spell. Memorize it. Use it. Stop embarrassing yourselves. 2. I'm unsettled about the notion of signing Garoppolo. His relative value is probably a 2nd round pick and a $15mm/year "starters" QB salary for five years. Maybe $30mm of g-money? I don't think the Browns should take that risk. Thank Matt Cassel for dampening his value. I think they use the #12 pick on a QB -- start Kessler and his 56 mph fastball -- and build the shit out of the defense. Hopefully, Coleman matures into a #1 WR and another one of the sophomores WR step up. Britt is a piece but not the guy.
If they don't like the #12 trade down (pick up a #1 next year?) and then go after one of the legit QBs next year. Rosen from UCLA. Remember this kid.
I've paid the invoice. I'm all in. I'm emotionally prepared to go to London to see them there.
That's all I have right now.
Go Browns.

I'd rather have KC than JG.
Oh and screw you and your high horse you rode in on. Some of us post from our phones on apps that keep trying to autocorrect Garoppolo to something else. Also one of us has tremors and has trouble typing.
Oh and while we're chastising others, try posting in an existing thread instead of starting your own.

Until then, if then, he's Jimmy Garrapolo to me. 2. There's no way of knowing for sure if he's truly "Got It". So it's a calculated risk if they do go that way. We know for sure of the few free agents that are out there who don't have it. I know this, the Pats first pick will come in the third round, 72nd overall. If Bill can get by without his backup or replace him he'll gladly take our draft picks I'm sure. On the other hand Browns FO may have something else in mind. Like next year's QB class.

I guess I'm embarrassing myself by referring to Joe Thomas as Joe T or Crowell as Crow.

Not what I think what Javvy insinuates if you evidently don't type out someone's full name.

We got close ... real close ... to acquiring Cousins in the off-season. I mean real, real, real close.
No details. No sources. No further comments.
Have a nice day.

Washington was motivated to sell, we were motivated to buy, and we had more than enough to offer to get it done. I've always figured that it didn't happen because Cousins wouldn't agree to a long term extension with us and just prefers to wait it out until he can go join Shanny in San Fran. So I'm inclined to believe Javvy because it jibes with what I'd suspected - the teams had a deal they could agree on, but Kirk wouldn't play ball in the end.

Depending on what the Browns were willing to give up I'm probably happier where they are at now.

It's an unknown of course.. but Kizer's upside "could" be better in the next 7 years with Hue Jackson coaching than Kirk Cousins is now or gets to. Kizer = 21 yrs old, Cousins = 28 yrs old.

Plus it's looking like Cousins may have an attitude problem. Just the vibe I get.
