Just got off phone w/Pitt TE J.P. Holtz. He said he's agreed to join Browns as UDFA. Had other offers. "I wanted to get it over with fast."

Dominique Alexander is a good get, insofar as he's a guy I've at least heard of. He's fast, but probably too small for the 3-4. He'll have to earn a roster spot on kick coverage.

Matthews is of the Matthews family. Son of Bruce Matthews. I know not all the Matthews have been great but it's a good blood line.

Browns have signed UDFA Jimmy Bean, OLB and former teammate of Ogbah at OkSU.
6'5", 264 lbs, 4.8 40.
Played at a major program. Bigger than guys they drafted like Schobert and Wright, and just as fast if not faster. But he tore his ACL in week 8 last year, so it's an odd pickup in that he's probably not going to be able to do much for a good long while. He did have 5.5 sacks in those first 7.5 games. The upside is obvious, but how soon's he going to be able to take reps?
