Dallas takes Dak. Perfect place for him to go. If Romo can stay healthy he can sit and learn.

One takeaway from this draft.
The Browns made a shitload of picks including wide receivers.

He also was the unanimous best defensive player in 2014. He had injuries last season.

Hey Flats, do your 4-5 minute YouTube reviews of our draft and give us grades.

Hey Flats, do your 4-5 minute YouTube reviews of our draft and give us grades. I'm only good at picking QB's. Doesn't work on other positions.

Out of their 14 picks, 6 were 1st or 2nd team All-Americans. Look say what you want, but this is different than any prior regime. Every other regime tried to be the smartest guys in the league and find those small school sleepers that had all the physical tools but were average against small school competition. It's why we ended up with guys like Spergonn Wynn, Chaun Thompson, Jujuan Dawson, Vince Maylee etc etc. It's how we ended up with guys like Mingo and Gilbert who have all the "skills" but the numbers never backed it up. They took award winners, productive players. Weird.

Or Colt McCoy part 2. Take your pick. Let's say he is Colt McCoy. What if Colt had come to us without the bowl game injury and nerve damage in his shoulder? What if he'd had Hue as HC instead of Shurmer? Could Colt have been an ok starter?

I think that's obvious when they traded out of 2 right after LA traded.

But your "who wants an ok starter?" attitude does explain your interest in Hogan. He'll never come close to being an ok starter.

I don't think anyone was advocating for Hogan as a starter but a backup.
I think what Thomas means when he says who wants an ok starter is that we'll constantly be stuck drafting in the 10-20 range with no hope of getting the top guy if one is available. I may be wrong.
If Kessler ends up the starter I hope he an above average starter.

What I hope for is that Bob is 100% healthy and stays that way. Also hoping his head is straight and not mind fucked from a bad year and being benched.

If Kessler's "ok" he'll be the best qb we've drafted in over a decade and a half, and we got him for a late third rounder. I won't complain.
