A few of you legit liked him & Austin Davis. I think it was more Shaw and Davis were mentally sound versus Johnny.

Just want to point out that in the Brees/Rivers scenario Drew left for nothing after an injury.
I think RG3 can still be a franchise qb. Not sure how the guy went from his rookie year to complete garbage in the span of a few years. Plus you can't underestimate the Hue factor. The guy made Jason Campbell look good. Arm talent alone RG3 is better than any prospect.

His head is huge which makes it hard for him to stay on his feet and when he falls he gets hurt a lot because of poor weight distribution. Look, RGIII was over rated coming into the NFL. Sure he can run with the best of them and he has an amazing arm but he could never figure out how to combine the two and stay healthy. He has a shot because of his abilities but he has to 100% change his game and i don't know if he's capable of doing so. Draft Goff at 2. This team will NEVER succeed until they get a QB. If we strike gold and get 2 of them, that can only help us moving forward, it has ZERO draw backs.

He threw for 20 td's and 5 int's as a rookie. He's never had a rating below 80. We would kill for a qb to have that rating. He was thrown on the field when clearly injured, rushed back from said injury, and then didn't fit new coaches style. He's had a year to get healthy and watch and learn the game. He has a chip on his shoulder. Goff has midget hands and you Wentz has so many questions. You can't discount the absolute ducks he threw when the ball was simply wet.

Ah, the midget hands argument.
Love, Teddy Bridgewater
dizz, RG3 unlike your boy Johnny, is out in California working his ass off to change the way his career is headed. You didn't sign the kid with a huge head who is a league star. You signed a kid that realizes its now or never.

I think if you take Goff you end up like San Diego with Rivers. Good enough to not be awful most years but bad enough to be a wildcard team at best.

Are you saying you wouldn't take Philip Rivers career here? I'm a Browns fan. If you're asking me if I'd take Rivers and the run he's had in San Diego or if I'd take the hope something works better, I'm taking the hope. Give me Ramsey a qb in 2 or 3 and hope that RG3 stays healthy and I think they're better than if you take Goff.

You are putting a lot of faith in a guy that got beat out by Colt McCoy though.

He didn't get beat by colt. They put him last in the depth chart because if he got hurt his whole $20M for next season would be guaranteed. They planned on cutting him, so there was no way they were gonna play him.
