Everyone should check out AtoZ this week. Scott Raab is the guest (if you haven't read his book Whore of Akron you need to). Raab is always fascinating to listen to. His comments in Johnny are particularly insightful, as he's a recovering alcoholic himself. "Johnny is a raging alcoholic. His addiction has led to run ins with the law, bizarre behavior with the blonde wig and shit, and now he's abandoned his job. It happens every single day in America." Was gonna' alert you to that this morning. I like Raab. Straight forward no bull shit kinda' guy. Bet it's good with Dre and Zac. I think somebody here doesn't like him. Might be Tommy. Going to put it on now that I'm home. Thanks for the reminder. Good luck getting anyone to listen. It's only the best Cleveland sports insider sit around bull shitting session ever.

Now I see why you commented on Selena Gomez the other day. We've found Tommy's "type".

Sorry then. I know Voodoo doesn't listen and didn't think it was Diz. I figured it was the opinionated guy. <shrug> ?? ;-)

Scott Raab is the best. Whore of Akron is so enjoyable - really shows what shitty writers most of the sports media is in Cleveland.

I just listened to that podcast. Not bad. It's not Rizzo good but what is.
What I took from it:
- Its pretty depressing to think that there's a real shot Lebron left for his prime and now is back and is declining. Just in time for two great teams - SA & GS to flourish.
- They made a good point - the Cavs are not a tough team. Is there anyone they could trade for that could bring that element flats? (and is a legit player)
- Draymond Green is who makes the Warriors the Warriors. Tough to argue that. How the fuck did he get passed 34 times in the draft? The fucking Cavs picked twice right in front of that pick.
- Raab can't imagine a worst draft pick than Johnny for both the player and the team. Hard to argue that one.
- I've never had Swenson's. Is it as good as everyone says?

- I've never had Swenson's. Is it as good as everyone says? I've only had it a few times. When I first moved back out here I went. It's a double cheeseburger with 2 different kinds of sauces and that's what sets it apart. Not exactly my style of burger but if you were out drinking or had a buzz on this would be the way to go. It's kind of a trashier burger compared to any of the upscale burger joints I think. "Swenson's signature dish, the Galley Boy, is two modest-size patties of beef, cheese, mayo-onion sauce and barbecue sauce on a buttered and toasted bun. Optional condiments include ketchup, relish, sweet pickles, horseradish, Worcestershire, Tabasco, cocktail, honey mustard, tartar and Cajun spice. Garnish choices are tomato, lettuce, olives, grilled onions, hot peppers, bacon, Coney sauce and cole slaw."

I can't think of anyone off the top of my head that could come in as a roll player and toughen up the character of the team Tommy. JR is on our roster and is already a tough guy in this league, but he's not enough of a focal point to lead others, and it's probably not in his nature anyway.
The team's always gonna be a little soft because it's LeBron's team, and LeBron is a little soft. The scenario Bruce Hooley has been talking about, with us trading for Chris Paul in the offseason, would fix that. He's got brass nuts, plays tough defense which we need in the backcourt, and with him dominating the ball on offense you'd see LeBron freed up to do what he does best - slash to the basket and finish with power. And you'd have a real point guard operating the offense, distributing the ball, and keeping LeBron from pounding the ball for 20 seconds and then going desperation iso.
The only problem with that? I don't think LeBron would ever agree to it. He hasn't ever played with a real PG, and I don't think he wants to because he likes bringing up the ball and being the floor general. He's not a natural leader (like DWade is), but he's too egotistical to let anyone else handle the job of team leader. He didn't come back here to play second fiddle, that's for damn sure. When LeBron left in 2010 he said he left because he didn't think he'd ever be able to win a championship in Cleveland. There's a strong chance that was 100% right.

Wait, so the official 2015 Browns thread in now the 2016 Cavs thread? Should I move it?
I'm confused.

Yeah the rumor out there has been Kyrie for Paul. The problem is Kyrie is 23 & Paul is 30. But our window is about 2 or 3 years anyways so if he is the key to toughen things up, get in Lebron's face and turn this team around then why not. I think this new idea Lue has of running might make the offense look better, but just hurt the D and overall won't do much once the Finals roll around.

I don't know if anything can be done to stop this Warriors team. They're on pace for 70+ wins. They're gonna have an argument for greatest team of all time if they keep this up and get the back to back championship win. Pray for injury I guess.

To me it seems as if they have gotten too big for their britches and started freezing their patties which has made them dry. Swensons is still good but it's not hands down #1 anymore.

A couple things swensons does different, they butter and toast their buns, they use a lot of brown sugar in their meat, and i'm pretty sure they use velveeta.

We used to have a Swensons down here (local place). They made the best Reuben sandwich I've ever had and cheese soup that was over the top.
We met one of the cooks that used to work there and she gave us the recipe for the cheese soup so we make it all the time.
Yes it is made with velveeta.
