Jeff Van Gundy at the beginning of the season said he thought they could beat the Bulls record of 72-10.
They are now 5-4.
Anybody but them. Every time they lose, this is the place to be.

Bosh is way overrated. Fans down here in Miami are starting to get a little nervous. It's funny. A lot of people legitimately thought they wouldn't lose a game.

funny thing about Miami and correct me bobby if i'm wrong, but if they don't win it all this year that arena is gonna be very empty next year.

Miami is a really shitty sports town. The only team that sells out is the Dolphins. The Heat had tickets their home opener available at the window up til tip-off. I just asked this girl I work with to name 5 players on the team and all she said is "believe me they will win the championship."

If they start playing to crowds the size of last year and the year before LBJ will really get the difference between there and CTown and I think we all know they will.

Funny thing about listening to local talk radio, is you understand the concensus of the average fan. First, it was we might not lose a game, Lebron, Bosh and Wade have already played on the Olympic team together, Lebron and Wade are best friends, etc. Next, it was Wade hasn't played all preseason, they might take a few games to gel, etc. Now, it's wait until Mike Miller gets back. He changes the whole complexion. It really is pathetic. There's always gonna be an excuse. Lebron has found the perfect home.

Apparently a buzzer beater loss for the Heat tonight. Sweet. 5 losses.

Oh yeah, Heat lost again last night. Blown out by 17 at home vs. Indiana. Wade played terrible.
6 losses.

They still have a chance to get their act together and beat the '95 Bulls record.

bobby - keep giving us updates from Miami on this. What they are saying on the radio, what coworkers are saying, etc. I love reading that.

There is still a chance that once Andy and Mo both get healthy the Cavs could end up with the same record as the Heat. There also is the chance that they blow it up by the trading deadline. Jamison is making a case for being a commodity.

Right now, they're still in the excuse phase. These are the main two: -They'll need time to gel -Mike Miller is injured
Those might be legit excuses, however, this team was supposed to go 82-0. Dan LeBatard of PTI fame was openly saying this team might not lose a game when James first got here.
Now, although still in the excuse phase, I'm starting to see a lot more negative stuff about lebron being said. His thing about playing too many minutes was the start of it. Now, they talking about him not wanting to go to the low post and saying he doesn't want to do what's best for the team.
There are also people calling in wanting to trade Bosh.

The NBA is dead to me maj. The only thing I care about is Lebron & the Heat losing. Anyone but them. It's more of a hate thing now than me caring about the sport.
I didn't even know the Cavs played tonight.

Mo hit a game winner. Very exciting. But i understand But some of us still do care about cavs ball, and hate to see the heat being talked about every second on espn and cavs boards.me personally i think he made the right move just not the right way to go about it

I'm not sure Lebron himself would even agree with that right now.
Let's go over it:
His image has gone from loved worldwide to hated. He gets booed in every arena. He was all about image.
He has gotten ripped apart by the guys he grew up idolizing. Jordan, Barkley, Bird, Magic, etc
He is said to be cold to the media down there already. Doesn't look like he is having fun on the court. No longer "protected" like he was in Cleveland.
Playing in front of non-capacity crowds who aren't into the games. Welcome to Miami sports. Wait until the arena is half filled.
They are now 8-7. It obviusly is not working like he thought it would. Let's face it, he is very arrogant, and thought he could do no wrong. Well guess what? He made a huge mistake and he has to realize it already.

Maj, I live in the Miami area, so I am forced to listen to Heat talk all day. I would watch the Cavs if they were on. Unfortunately, all I can do is watch the Heat games and root against them.
