Please let the Raiders hire Pat Shurmur as head coach. That seems like it would be wildly entertaining.

Still can't believe Marone left. Man if he goes to the Jets that's going to be a hellava return to Buffalo.

3 reasons why NFL officiating is a joke. (besides being a part time job)
#1. Sometimes pass interference is called (for some teams) and sometimes it isn't.
#2. See #1
#3. See #2

See #2 I think the answer is less flags on everything. Nobody wants to see them. And I am tired of players crying for them every play. A blatant penalty? Fine throw it. Otherwise I want to just watch the players play.

Number 1 is the problem, although you could never prove it. If a DB gets in refs ear about a botched call he could hold that against him. That's human nature. They really need to start reviewing every PI call. That one today against Arizona was total BS and it killed the momentum the D got from holding them on 1st and goal. Instead Carolina gets a TD and game over. Judgmental calls are crap. What one ref see's another does not. That's why they all need reviewed. Rant off.

Can't take human judgement completely out of the game. PI, holding, illegal contact can be called on every play. I think they'll back off all those bullshit calls a little next year

Dick LeBeau resigns from Pittsburgh Steelers Dick LeBeau's legendary tenure in Pittsburgh is over. The longtime Steelers defensive coordinator told the Urbana Daily Citizen that he is resigning. "I'm resigning this position, not retiring," LeBeau, 77, said. "I had a great run in Pittsburgh. I'm grateful for all the things that have happened to me and thankful for all the support I had in Pittsburgh." Around the NFL will have more on this story soon. www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000456087/article/dick-lebeau-resigns-from-pittsburgh-steelers
