Dear Dixie Dan,
Sorry they're going to change your state flag. I guess that's upsetting to you. Whatever you do, don't go down to the post office and start spouting off about "2A".

WRs have become the new RBs IMO. You must get a stud there. RBS are easier to find later now.

Draft position means everything. In what regard? If you're in a 10 team draft and draft close to last most of the top tier RB1's will be gone. In that case a WR1 might be a better idea than a lower tier RB1/2. Of course using your philosophy would be a different scenario. If it was a snaking draft you would have a pick right away after your WR for a RB but who know's what you'll get by then. Have you done any mock drafts to warm up? People are still taking RB's. I've seen an A.Brown. A few crazies have taken Gronk and I've even seen Luck. But the majority are still taking RB's 1st it seems.

Yeah I don't normally do things like everyone else. I just traded Demarco Murray & Jeremy Hill away for picks & am keeping AJ & Odell in a 2 keeper league.
I hear you on picking at the top & being hard to pass on AP & Bell but honestly I would probably try to move back in those scenarios for draft picks.
I usually wait on QBs but Luck & Rodgers aren't silly in the 1st if you do your homework.

You better hope so. After that it's only guys from the Browns, Jaguars and Buccaneers left. I try to take RB three out of the first four picks. Even in deep leagues there are still 800 yard receivers out there in the later rounds.

Other late finds: Justin Forsett, Lamar Miller, Jeremy Hill, CJ Anderson, Joique Bell, Mark Ingram. I just named 7 of the top 14 RBs none of which you would have drafted high. Meanwhile at WR, besides a standout rookie like Beckham or Evans, they were all the studs as predicted.

I'm sorry, what? I was just remembering how happy I was this time last year with AP, Demarco Murray and Ray Rice as my RB triumvirate.
Half of those guys shouldn't have been drafted at all. And most of them didn't do shit for the first 10 weeks. CJ Anderson had 5 points going into week 9. Forsett would have had the same had RR not popped his girlfriend. Hill didn't do shit until Gio got hurt. Joique was way inconsistent, Ingram missed significant time. Shaky examples.

My point is at the end of this year you'll be starting 2 RBs you never would have thought you would have been starting. The examples were based off points, so not really shaky. Between injuries, RB rotations and how little value these guys have to real teams now the position has changed.
At year end the stud WRs will be right where they were predicted to be.
