Such a great version of this song. The line at the end: "I loved you yesterday, before you killed my family" fucking grabs me every time. I can't believe his first album was so amazing and the next two were so forgettable.
Hey Serj, maybe it's time to collect your friends and maybe do something like that Old School Hollywood type stuff again.

Serj used to be the singer of the group System Of A Down -aka- the last interesting thing to ever happen in rock/metal.
I saw them do this same splice front row at Blossom at Ozzfest in '02. It was the week after Ozzy crashed a quad and fucked himself up, so SOAD headlined the show and played for 2-1/2 hours. Fuck yeah.

Something in my body chemistry changes when this guy plays and sings. I always think of good times. I think of summer.
Not to mention how talented he is. I guess people here will either like it or hate it. But every now and then James fills a hole in my musical soul with music that sounds like no other.

I like the tonight's theme. My Beatles post is kind of strange, but I had never heard it before and for me NEW Beatles is a must-listen.

Never was a "huge" fan of Pearl Jam but I like this vid. I always thought they had a killer sound against the landscape of garbage like GNR. I know you liked GNR, but they disgust me for some reason.

Used to have a live recording of this where Plant is talking and obviously wasted and say something to the effect "Is there anyone not doing mandrax in the audience? If so come forward!". The crowd exploded and Zep cut into GTC.

Who doesn't enjoy a song about rape?
Great Ozzfest. I was just out of high school and way into getting high. I don't think Burton C. Bell lip-synchs, but I am skeptical that he's the welp of rape. I guess it would be worse to err on the side of doubt, so I'll just move on to the guitarist who was fat back then. I'm guessing he got his stomach stapled, went on Nutri-System, something since the old days. He obviously had to do something to keep up with the new drummer who is way faster.

Yeah I went with a buddy on a weekend road trip to a game, got there in the morning and finally left to meet BTTB for dinner at the GLB late afternoon. Wasn't near enough time, very cool place. Underrated for sure. And to answer Voodoo's question there are a lot of artists not in there yet. I know the induction process gets a lot of flack but the pool is so huge they have to draw the line somewhere each year. Rush IMO should have been in there before a lot of other people, but so should have #66 Gene Hickerson in the Football HOF.
