I think I created an ultimate Thanksgiving leftover dish yesterday.
Think Tuna-Noodle casserole but with turkey, leftover gravy and stock, and dressing instead of bread crumbs as a topper. Added some carrots and parsley since they were there, cooked a pound of pasta short of al dente combined in a casserole dish and topped with the dressing, baked for 45 minutes @ 375. Deadly shit Maynard.

I've been eating the hell out of our leftover ham on these little King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. Say what you want about people from Hawaii, but the bread is fantastic.
I guess making a sandwich is not really cooking, but that's about as close as I usually get.

I've never been there myself. Every fucking asshole I've ever met from Hawaii tells me how great it is. If that's the case, I'm not sure what they're still doing here.

It's next to impossible to live there. Expensive and no land for sale. Rental prices are astronomic. Go for 6-7 days, great fucking weed, better food. The open air experience in the restaurants is a high in itself.

Tried boxed banana bread in the bread maker. Oh my God the smell is fabulous throughout the house. Had to make up my own settings on the machine but it worked. Got the cream cheese frosting to finish her off. Look what Ace started. Attachments:

Got some ribs in the oven, low and slow. Bobby Flay's beef & pork rub, white wine, garlic, worcester & honey braising liquid.

I have never cooked a turkey. I think im going to do one this week. Salt under the skin put in fridge 24 hours, remove one hour before baking. Rub with butter and bake @ 325 until the breast meat measures 160-170.

I got a question, when you grill bacon wrapped whatever (lets say chicken), isn't the best way to do it with skewers, to keep it there? How do you get the sides of that bacon cooked well if so. Or do you throw it in pan 1st?

Seriously, though, can't wait to hear your recipes and advice. Simple trick always 2 to 1 2 parts liquid to 1 part rice. Start cold water, over low medium heat heat till you see small bubbles, then cover, about 10 to 15 minutes later check on the rice, you want to see no liquid. just spaces where the bubbles came up. Set the lid back on take off the heat and let the steam from the heat finish the rice about 10 minutes. Then Fluff with a fork always a fork makes it fluffy spoons flatten the grains. Well first of all you can't fuck up bacon. Bacon is full proof. I've used it in the crock pot, under the broiler... you name it. I think it depends on the dish you're making.
