Fucking loved End Of Watch. I'm not saying it was a perfect film, but I loved it nonetheless. Donnie Darko and Army had a great rapport, and it was a fun exhibition in demographics as half the crowd laughed at the QuinceaƱera jokes and the other half laughed at the Starbucks jokes.
As the film went on we all started laughing at each others' jokes, up until the point the MS-13 crew says "We'll do this, and then go hang with our boys in Vegas." and that chilled everyone's shit that we're like a one tank trip from all of this.
David Ayer did alright as a director. It opened fast and it kept a fast pace throughout. It's amazing how many movies miss that point. A few "Oh right, he's a writer." moments here and there, but overall not bad.
My wife was surprised that I said the girl I'd most like to fuck in the film was La La. I was surprised that she found that surprising. She's fucking 2/3 to a demon, and she was the smartest of that little crew. Big Evil was not the fucking brains there. Hell Pussy FTW.

Oh right, we watched Ted too. Fun movie to smoke prescription marijuana to. I wish I watched it free on HBO instead of paying $8.99 but it was like 2:23 am and the time was right.

Can't wait to see End of Watch. But since I rarely get out and pretty much never go to the movies. Have to wait for the release.

I don't remember the last movie I saw at the theater without my kids. Kill Bill 2 at the Texas Station?
End Of Watch is absolutely worth the $8.50. I saw a genuine Evil & La La at the pool today and I was mentally hiding a boner. This chick was sincerely dangerous and I looked anyway. My mantra was: "Wade Boggs, George Brett, Don Mattingly, Wade Boggs, George Brett, Don Mattingly."
