I'm around 60 grams of protein a day. Ended up passing on the Smith machine. Gonna look at a powercage.

I'm around 60 grams of protein a day. Ended up passing on the Smith machine. Gonna look at a powercage. I would strongly suggest upping the protien intake. Also, good call on passing up the smith machine. Power cage will allow a much freer range of motion.

So I lifted legs yesterday. Fairly light, I thought. 5 sets of front squats, 5 reps each set. Starting at 135lbs and finishing at 225. Did some lunges with medicine ball rotation, stretched, some calf raises, some more stretching. Finished with a 10 minute job, followed by a 5 min stretch.
I have a softball game after work at 6:45. Get out of work at 5:20. Stop home to change and eat. Get to field at about 6:35. Stretch, jog, stretch, jog, then run a few 80% sprints.
Get up to plate, first at bad, hit a hard grounder to short. Start sprinting. About 20 feet in, I feel a pop in my right quad. Fuck. Finished game, but could barely walk. After an excruciatingly painful drive home, took some advil and iced it. I feel much better today, but it still hurts, especially above the knee. Any ideas on what I did or how long I should rest it?

Bobby it sounds like your wrists are breaking down. Try rotating them so that your knuckles line up and you should start hitting the ball more squarely and with better top spin rotation that will send it out of the park.
