To me he's looked hurt. All season since preseason. I've listened to people say he's cashed in his paycheck, he doesn't care, special teams are only good for so long blah, blah, blah. The man looks like he's running on one good leg and a sprained other one. Also, I don't feel he's used too much it's just he's hurt and can not do anything particularly good. He's made plays at receiver but receiving is easy when you have vision like Cribbs and have never relied on speed. The difference is in receiving you only have to beat one man and in special teams it's many. Just my honest thoughts in watching every game

Your way fucking confused. Receiving is a hard fucking position and he has stepped it up. Look at the deference from last year to now, Cribbs is much better.
Numerous things come into play with his special teams efforts. First, he is super focused on receiving. Second, he's not getting the ball kicked to him like he has in the past.
Settle down, he is still the most explosive player on the team.

I have noticed something on his returns when they do kick to him. In the past it was boom boom. He looked up field & was off like a man on a mission. This year he almost looks a little hesitant. Not sure if it's blocking or maybe the ankle is keeping from having that initial burst.

I think the returns are more the result of good coverage and them not kicking to him. When they do kick to him it's almost like our return team is surprised almost. He'll bust a few at some point and by the end of the year will be among the leaders in returns.
