Who ever drafted him is fucked. I'm willing to bet he doesn't play at all this season.

I took him in round 5 of my main money league. Just couldn't pass on it. That was before all these new rumors.
I have Mathew Stafford as my backup, which should be good enough if he can stay healthy.
Still hoping Manning is back by about week 4 or 5 but not sounding good.....

I was trying to draft the Texans D since I took the Lions but the Texans face the Colts this week. But someone else took them.

And like I said, I'm fine with him missing the first few weeks (especially if it can buy the Browns a win) as I think Stafford will be a decent fantasy QB this year.

A guy in my keeper league had kept Stafford - he nabbed Peyton late. Stafford could have a huge year this year. Let me rephrase - he WILL have a huge year IF he can stay healthy.

My bet is that Peyton ends up with a better season than Micheal Vick.

I just don't see the love affair with Vick this year.
His line blows, Maclin is sick, Smith is hurt, Jackson is upset over his pay...could get ugly

He shined in an offense last year that was designed for a pocket passer. This year it's designed for his style of QB play. He can run, he can pass and he has a lot of weapons. I'm not sure where all the hate is coming from. I'm not a Philly or Vick fan, the dude is good.

The problem is his weapons and the questions around them.

I hope Diz is right. I hate Vick but I'm a fan for this season FF wise anyway.

You're telling me that nothing in the Eagles offensive play calling will change this year? With an athletic left handed QB as opposed to a right handed pocket passer?

This and the hype of being favorites. I see a disappointed city of Philly this year.
As for the play calling with Vick. What made him successful last year was his patience and desire to play within their system. His problem in Atlanta was he was always ready to run, rather than check down & go through his progressions.

Clearly you are unfamiliar with Andy Reid and his resistance to change anything. For ten years the city has been calling for him to not pass 60% of the time but he refuses to change it. So no, I don't see the offense changing that much.
