Cavs pull off a trade, go 1-2 and get Irving/Williams.

1. Williams 2. Irving 3. Kanter 4. Walker If a trade doesn't give us Irving & Williams at 1 & 2, I'm for Dizzle's picks. You folks will think I'm crazy, but I'm not totally convinced that Irving will be a better PG than Walker. Mike

I'd take Kemba there too if they stick at 4 even if they take Irving. I don't understand: why no love, not enough upside? Who cares, I think he showed enough in that tourney. Walker can come off the bench at first.
Fuck Kanter, he plays under the rim.
Sounds like they are trying to trade out of 4 anyways though.

Kanter fills a need and I would be thrilled if we took him at 4.

My personal opinion is that there may not be a center WORTHY of a 1st round pick in this draft. Get Williams at #1 & Walker at #4. If the Cavs take Irving at 1, I'm all for trading that 4th pick. We may need a center, but more than that, we need a forward who can score from beyond 10' (who is under 35) & a point guard. Personally, I LOVE Walker's game & he's proven himself over the long haul (performance AND durability), & there are experts who think he will develop into a better PG than Irving. Who knows? As far as I'm concerned, if you take Irving at #1, there isn't anyone left (as Williams will be gone) worthy of the 4 pick....I'm excluding guards, because if we take 2 guards at 1 & 4, the Cavs may as well throw in the towel. I agree Mike. Everyone talks BPA in the NFL. Go that route here. Take the best 2 players on the board and move on. Hell Walker might end up a SG at some point. Or a great scorer off the bench.
I want to hear Irving & Walker's names unless they can pull of the trade (doubtful) to get Williams too.

I still think we'll see them getting another pick in the first. Maybe Marshon Brooks?

I was starting to like Williams more before the draft. Reminds me of Paul Pierce.

Williams then Knight would've been a great combo, IMO. What do you guys know about the guy from Texas?
