If we upgraded from Dunleavy to Korver for just a late first that's a nice piece of trading by the front office.

Damn shame Delly isn't here to welcome Korver.

We'd probably already have our PG if Mo Williams weren't acting like such a prick, lying about his plans to play and tying up a roster spot.

Korver is finally official. Getting the Hawks to take Mo off our hands REALLY makes this deal a win. Sending out 2 and bringing back 1 frees up a roster spot for the backup PG we need, whether that winds up being Mario Chalmers or someone who comes free at the trade deadline. Without this deal we would have had to cut Jordan McRae to make room (not that McRae's a world beater, but he was earning minutes that Dunleavy couldn't find a way to get).
So essentially the Cavs sent out a late first round pick and Dunleavy in exchange for Korver, cap relief, and McRae.
In a way it's sort of a shame that this deal had to be made. If Dunleavy were doing what we expected when we traded for him we wouldn't need Korver. And if Mo hadn't acted so squirrelly about his retirement we'd have a free roster spot already. But those issues popped up, and now it appears that Griffin has dealt with them, so give him credit.

I honestly don't know. He's an incredible talent. As far as point guards go he's one of the greatest defenders, passers, and rebounders of all time. He's only 30.
BUT he's a head case. So was JR, and LeBron has been making that work, so maybe he could get to Rajon too. But then again even if LeBron got his head right Rondo's game isn't a great fit for what the Cavs do on offense anyway. But then again again we just need a backup, and Delly did just fine as a distributer who can't shoot much, so maybe that role could work?
Blah. Like I said, I honestly don't know.

Analytically speaking I believe you could possibly be right. It's certainly probable.

Are the Cavs playing tonight or are they off? (asking for a friend) They didn't really seem to want to be there. The Warriors were on a mission. 1-1 for the season. We'll see them in June.

The Cavs are going to have a rough 8 or so game stretch coming up. This is where they lose a few in a row and people lose their minds. It's January. Doesn't really matter. Cavs have lost 5 of 7 including a loss to the Pelicans tonight without Anthony Davis. People are stating to panic on Twitter. 2015: were under .500 for the year at one point in January 2016: fired their head coach in January Like I said, a tough stretch where people panic for no reason.

So you think he's right? I'm with Charles Barkley on this one, and this is rare. Lepussy wants to play with an all star team. He's arguably the best player on the planet and the team around him is never good enough. 3 of the top 15 players in the league play on his team and it's still not good enough. Highest payroll in the league and he still bitches about not spending enough. If he would stop signing max contracts every other year and demand max contracts for the other players maybe there would be room for more people. Griff has done a great job signing people yet Lepussy still bitches.

Everything he does is calculated. I think what he is doing now is to motivate his current teammates to get their asses going while motivating the front office to somehow get a backup PG who can contribute consistently, which they desperately need. This team really, really misses Delly. Dude brought it every minute of every game.

The Cavs signed Derrick Williams and now own 3 of the first 4 picks in the 2011 draft.

"Lepussy" - LOL. He brought us our only title you fat garbage man. He started all this Carmelo nonsense and could end it by saying Kevin Love isn't going anywhere, but he won't. Instead he questions the best GM Cleveland has seen in years. So now he wants to call reporters trash when they write articles or ask questions? Give me a break.
