No idea, but it'll come out eventually. Once he's officially off the roster things will leak out, but right now people will have tight lips becuase they're trying to trade him.
Things not looking good for Christ Grant at the moment. Bynum was supposed to be our second star, but that was a swing and a miss. The #1 overall pick looks awful. And while Kyrie and Waiters are both playing great ball (Waiters has really made a jump this year - love his aggressiveness and attitude), they don't seem able to play great with each other. So where we came into this season hoping we had the 1,2,4,and 5 positions set for a playoff contender it now looks like we've got a 1, a 6th man, and a bunch of guys. Meanwhile the trade market is bone dry.

He didn't do much. Just slept with the assistant coach's wife.

You don't even want to start an NBA contract versus an NFL contract discussion with me.

I don't know the first thing about the details of the contracts to be honest, I hear people talking like Jay Cutler will demand a top 5 deal next year. Hell even half that is too much. NBA and MLB are completely off my radar so any posts in a thread about them should be taken more in a Random Bullshit context.

Somewhat interesting situation playing out this weekend between the Cavs and Lakers. Turns out grant structured Bynums deal in a wholly original and unique way turning his contract into a valuable trade asset this week only. Lots of technicalities get down to this - if we trade him to a team and they cut him before Tuesday they can make $23M. Bulls would be interested but we want Deng for the deal and they don't want to lose him. Lakers are very interested, and are offering Pau Gasol, but they also want a pick or young player like Karasev back to help their fans swallow the salary dump. Right now Grant is telling them the $23M is all they're gonna get, no sweetener and both teams are in stare down mode. Gasol is only signed through the year, and rumors say he wants to end his career back in Memphis playing next to his brother, so Grant doesn't want to part with any young assets.
Anyway, if this deal happens and gives us Gasol at C, allowing us to try to move Andy for a SF before the trade deadline, we would be looking at a much more balanced roster this season.

Sounds like Windy thinks Gasol will probably be a Cav today.
I'm thinking we probably wind up hanging onto Bynum until the summer and try to get something for him then.
