No anger, just confused as to why the coaches did exactly against what they preach.

Right? How many times over the offseason did I hear Hue kick himself for getting away from the run while we were still in the game?

I don't get the clock management at the end of the game. Between 1:26 and :36 your Browns called two shitty plays. Why not spike the ball at the 1:26 mark. Then it's 2nd and 10. Instead, Hue panics a young QB. Kizer dumps the ball off underneath.

Hue called 10 handoffs to Crow vs 51 dropbacks to throw. That doesn't develop your young QB. It doesn't put him in position to succeed. You maybe put that weight on the shoulders of a Brees or Brady. Not a 21 year old rookie. Fine. Fair. I initially was replying to dizz when he said really to me saying we got our QB & I feel great about. Kizer has everything we want. I don't really care tgat we are 0-2. This kid has every attribute I want. And honestly shit WRs so that makes it even better. I don't know about anybody else but I want a win and Kizer doesn't have one of those so he doesn't have everything we want.

It's hard to run the ball when your first 3 offensive drives your offense puts you in shitty downs because of false starts, illegal motions, and offensive pass interferences.

They had 42 pass attempts and 14 rushing attempts with Crow and Duke. No attempts by Dayes.
5 of those 42 passing attempts resulted in turn overs.

Don't forget to count sacks and scrambles as passing plays.

Don't forget to count sacks and scrambles as passing plays. Didn't even consider those. My point is they need to help the young guy out. I know they want to see what they have in him but they have 16 games to do so.

If they truly want to help him, they need to cut Britt and Coates from this team.

All Hue said all offseason was how mad he was at himself for not establishing the run game last season. And how he wouldn't make that mistake again. And how great it was we brought in these new olinemen to really get that ground game going.
Then he calls a game like that and without a hint of irony blames the outcome on the 21 year old QB not taking care of the ball. HUE didn't take care of the ball, by calling 51 pass plays.

I really can't fault the defense for the day they had. 24 points isn't bad at all when your offense turns it over 5 times.
And those turnovers were exacerbated by the playcalling. First and goal on the one = 3 handoffs to Crow in the I formation. No need to come out throwing there. You run it in, you're down 24-17 at the start of the fourth quarter. Your defense gets a stop you've got the ball back with 10-12 minutes left down by one score. Plenty of time to run the ball, all game.

BTW anyone here ever had a migraine? They ain't no joke. I am not sure he should have even come back but I guess the medical staff felt good enough about it. I bet he was a little hazy at minimum. I am fine with blaming Hue yesterday. But I don't think we can just be this grind it out team with these WRs. Nobody is going to respect the pass. So basically you have to pass. Some of the blame has to go to the front office too for putting this WR group together.

Same as every year so far. There is plenty of blame for everyone and then some.
We didn't have wide receivers last year but yet Crowell had two of his best games of the year and it was against Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

He has in every season. Give him a hole and he'll get his yards. He's not the kind of back that can make something out of nothing. He may be missing some but not like Richardson. He's also not a first round pick.

Crowell isn't a great running back. Physically gifted. But really bad decision making and vision. I hope he has a great year, but I don't want to be the ones giving him a big contract in 8 months either way.

Coleman needs to learn how to catch and run routes. If he can't stay on the field next year he should just go back to making coolers.
