Brock wasn't just shipped out of Houston for his play. His bad attitude and negative locker room presence were big reasons too. It was a shit situation. He played horrible with a big contract. You think that ever sits well in a locker room?

Ignore the part where he has played well in this league, is big and does have a big arm. You take one comment and run with it like the reporters you are making fun of.

Everyone was just so quick to write off Brock. I want to give him a chance. No reason not to.

He's either delusional or thinks every other qb on the roster sucks Yeah, confidence in yourself as a player is just plain stupid. Pot--kettle

I don't think anyone is writing him off now that he's going to make it to camp. If he starts, plays well, and the Browns take off... That trade might go down as the best trade in the history of the NFL. I hope all the QBs on the roster do well

One thing seems to be pretty certain and that the attitude in Berea appears to be very positive for a change. From almost every report I read or player tweets things sound functional versus the dysfunction in the years past. Maybe I'm being naive but that's the vibe I'm getting.

Yeah, confidence in yourself as a player is just plain stupid. Pot--kettle Read the comment 2 up from this and tell me I am only picking out that he's confident. I said he "played horrible." It's the mentality of Cleveland shining here. Always liking the underdog little guy - Kessler. Calling for guys like Holcomb when you had Couch right in front of you. Brock is bigger, and has a better arm and he's not McCown old. I am rooting for all the QBs too but there is no way they'll be given the same chance with this fanbase.

They seem heading in the right direction. This draft pans out and look out.

If the other two want to be good, that's OK too.

If Brock becomes a great starting QB I'll be thrilled. I just think he's the 3rd most likely guy on the roster to do that. He's got talent, sure. That same Kizer type of ability that I'm a fan of. But he's going into his sixth NFL season on his third NFL team and it hasn't happened for him yet, so odds are it's not going to.

Sure he started a handful of games in Denver while Peyton was hurt but really his only starting gig was last year. Played bad for the most part. Won a playoff game. Team wanted out. Here we are. I'm not saying I expect him to become a franchise QB. I think Kizer is our best shot at that. I just think Brock deserves a shot to start. Last year we handed it to RG3 and that was a mistake.

And those 4 years were spent with Elway grooming him to eventually step in for Manning. But when the time came that Manning was garbage Brock wasn't able to take the job away. Then when Manning just flat out retired they felt fine letting Brock walk away for nothing. After 4 years of investment, that says something.

How Browns would it be if after years and years of quarterback futility they ended up with three viable players with a front office who aren't even football guys?

More brown's if they traded two for draft assets and the one they keep gets hurt the next year.

Elway was correct on that. He is not a franchise QB. That doesn't mean he can't start here. We don't exactly have Johnny Unitas on this roster right now.

I hope he is. But I am skeptical that he truly can improve his arm to become legit NFL starter capability. As is he is a fine backup for years.

Holtz is no where near a FQB.
