Watson is a one-read QB. Great arm talent. Questionable in everything else. Surprised if he goes in the top half of the first round.
Browns need to take the Texas A&M kid -- he's a generational talent -- then parlay the #12 into a 2018 1st round pick so they can grab a real QB. QB's in this draft are horrible.

I think Hue knows he needs to turn this around quick. 1-15 and he didn't get fired so Jimmy kept his word. Going 2-14 this year isn't going to be enough.
Hue probably has to convince the analytical folks this means they must bend a bit and spend a bit. In Free Agency. It also means they have to get better on both sides of the ball. Now.
Trading for the future I don't think is in their plans. Addressing QB now has to be whether that is reaching for one of these kids, trading for someone like Jimmy or signing someone like Cousins or a cheaper option like Hoyer.
It's Garrett or Allen at 1. I prefer Allen but whatever, they both should be studs. At 12 there is no way I can let Malik Hooker or Soloman Thomas get by me. I'd be shocked if they aren't both studs. I bet both are gone though. The guy I am eyeing after them is Mike Williams. I am surprised you haven't mentioned him dizz since you love WRs so much. Dude is a freak and already looks like he belongs in the NFL. Perhaps you then fix your secondary via free agency. Now you would have addressed QB, gave him another weapon and gotten a stud DL to pressure their QB.
I still don't know what they do with Pryor but Collins needs to be signed.

It's not that i don't like Mike, I just think we are a lot better off at WR than we are at almost all other positions so drafting a WR in the first round hasn't really crossed my mind yet.

Look at the couple of scrubs we lost last year and what they accomplished with a real QB. Benjamin and that other little queer that went to Atlanta (i think) both had solid seasons.

Pryor has to get paid. Coleman proved nothing. So you want to throw him out after year 1? He was our top draft pick.

If he's BPA, i'm all for it. My only concern is if we're passing on more pressing needs at that point.

It's the same thing with a guy like Fournette, he may be BPA but our running backs aren't terrible so are you drafting him anyway.

You hit on a WR and you can have him for 10+ years. How many RBs make it 5 or 6 years? And we aren't a year away here. BTW, did you know the Browns YPC this year was the highest since like the 1960s? I'm fine moving forward with Crow and Duke.

I think we're good at RB. WR I think we can make it with what we have unless a stud is there. QB which this draft lacks and OL depth are the most pressing needs on offense. Defense needs help everywhere basically.

We all knew it would happen. Finally have the number one pick and there's no QB worthy of it.
Not that they would use it for that but still.
So Browns.

Who is your QB week 1? What are you doing with the first pick in the draft? Target for 12th pick?
