Anyone have any targets in mind yet? Anyone in love with a WR, TE, CB, etc...?
Hey Mikey,
If we go pass rusher in what order would you rank Floyd, Spence, Dodd and Calhoun? Any of those guys you think have no chance of being there? Any that you think 32 would be way to high for? There will be a run on pass rushers in the wake of the Super Bowl. Spence's talent is tantalizing, but he's a shithead with a drug issue, sooo... yeah. I love Dodd's size for a 3-4 OLB, and he has experience there in college which is rare. But there's not a long track record, he benefitted from Shaq Lawson on the other side, and he's kinda raw. Still, after years of watching Mingo pretend he isn't a strong safety the idea of drafting a real 280 pounder does appeal to me. I guess Dodd's my guy at 32 right now, but it may just be bias due to watching him kicking so much ass in the Championship game.

Spence is the most talented on there. I bet he goes top 15.
Dodd should go right around that pick but was he a product of double teams on Lawson? I don't know how much I like the idea of moving guys from DE to OLB.
Calhoun is slightly bigger than Mingo. And Floyd is probably thinner than Mingo & been called weak.
I wish we would just switch to a 4-3 base. How about a bigger guy like Jonathan Bullard? Might be a slight reach though.

I think Henry will be there. Pass. I am fine with Crowell and Duke.

QB at #2.
BPA the rest of the way. Hopefully at 32 a pass rusher or WR are the BPA.
If they would quit dropping Kruger into pass coverage and let him rush the passer he's pretty good at it. Not elite but pretty good.

Not elite but pretty good. I think the COACHING itself will improve this defense. O'Neill was fucking terrible. How he got another job is beyond me. Sounded like right away the coaches were talking about using Kruger correctly. Maybe Mingo too, if he makes the team.

How pissed would you be if the Browns decide to go BPA at 2 and QB at 32?

I don't think Bosa fits our scheme. I don't want to take a guy at 2 and move his position like Mingo.
I would say it would be Ramsey or Hargreaves in the secondary or possibly Buckner, not Bosa, as a 3-4 DE.

Typically they have a few players graded as BPA with every draft slot so if WR, NT and QB are the players they have on their board hopefully they go WR.

I'd like a corner if there's one worth taking.
Well, I'd REALLY like it if we'd just re-signed Skrine and didn't NEED a corner. OH WELL
