You don't need an agent when you're not in the league anymore.

Kind of a hard sell right now.. Report: Cowboys will not pursue Manziel The Dallas Cowboys have been linked to Johnny Manziel at a number of points in the former Heisman Trophy winner's NFL career, and were rumored to be a possible landing spot for Manziel as recently as this week. But a high-ranking Cowboys source says that Dallas is out on Manziel after the latest reports involving the quarterback and domestic violence allegations, Mike Leslie of WFAA in Dallas reports. theredzone.org/BlogDescription/tabid/61/EntryId/54644/Report--Cowboys-will-not-pursue-Manziel/Default.aspx

Well the story just took another turn. She is filing charges now. Read the entire statement from Dallas police below: Following yesterday’s release, today the Dallas Police Department received a complaint of a domestic violence assault that occurred in Dallas on January 30, 2016. A criminal investigation into the incident, in which Johnathan Manziel is the listed suspect, has been initiated. Detectives will thoroughly investigate the case to determine what criminal charges, if any, will be filed and victim services will be offered. As there are many emotional factors involved, it is not uncommon for a victim of domestic violence to question or delay reporting an assault. This is an on-going investigation and updates will be made as information becomes available. fox8.com/2016/02/05/dallas-police-ex-girlfriend-files-domestic-violence-complaint-against-johnny-manziel/

His dad got Johnny admitted to rehab facilities twice in the last week, he left both times. The second time his dad was furious because he'd told the facility and the police that Johnny was suicidal. In New Mexico I know that's usually enough to get an emergency Certificate of Evaluation placed on a patient, where the police will bring the guy in for medical/psych treatment against their will. I don't know the law in Texas. But even if it's the same there it's only good until the Doc evaluates the patient and deems him sober and able to make his own decisions. He's an adult. He's not insane. He's got rights. If Johnny wants to go home sit on his couch and drink himself to death he's got the right. Not much the people who care about him can do about it.

Fuck the drugs. She has visible evidence of abuse on her body. He obviously hit her in the Avon, Ohio incident as well. Those cops also let him go. How many beatings does this girl have to endure before they stop giving Billy Idiot Face a break? That I don't know without pictures. The scratch on her arm in Avon was a little suspect. But if it takes her pressing charges for that I am asking why if he appeared on drugs they wouldn't arrest him for that? It does say that SHE said he was acting like he was on drugs. That said - I don't think you can be arrested for acting like you are on drugs unless they have a more "concrete" reason to believe so - like smelling weed on you or if you have drug paraphernalia with you or if you are acting in a way you appear to be a threat to yourself or someone else. Lotta people act crazy but aren't on drugs, they're just weird.

She is claiming she was - now I didn't read the recent report but I from what I heard from some friends who are cops back in the Cleveland area (and heard about the stop through the grapevine) was that despite her claims that he assaulted her, she had no physical signs of it and that's why they didn't take him in that day.

Lotta people act crazy but aren't on drugs, they're just weird. She was his long time live-in girlfriend. I think she's qualified to know his "weirdness" baseline and when he's exceeding it.

Except for an abrasion on her wrist that was caused by Johnny trying to keep her from leaping out of a moving car. Nothing to see here though. People always think it's safer to roll around on the pavement or get run over by a car than to stay in your seat and get punched in the head.

I think Johnny just blamed this incident on concussions.
