Hey Flats, found the Fat Tire Collaboration at my local craft brew store after only seeing it once before. It's awesome if you love the malt of Fat Tire and an individual breweries play on it. Attachments:

Wow. Drinking a "High ABV Kombucha Tea Beer" for the first time. It's from a company in Columbus called Wild Ohio Brewing. (formally Luna Kombucha) "We are fermented teas. Carbonated into a slightly sweet fusion which resembles that of champagne. Our nature is probiotic, aiding digestion and detoxification. The healthy yeast particles and cultures from which we are created can be consumed or strained. We are local, non-pasteurized, gluten free, raw, Ohio natives. Our bottles are conditioned. We are delicious." I guess they used to make straight Kombucha Tea and decided to jump on the craft beer craze and went high ABV. Picked up a 6 of the Black Cherry Bourbon on the way home when I saw it was 9.2% alcohol and only $9.99. Usually there's only 4 bottles when the ABV is that high. Curious I guess. Tea beer? Well... this shit is DANGEROUS. It has the sweetness of a cider (hey Phenom!), a bit sour and leaning Lambic. And I can BARELY taste the alcohol! Yikes. Plus there's probiotics! It's health food! Overall very interesting style. Got to love those Ohio breweries pushing the envelope. www.facebook.com/WildOhioBrewingCo/?ref=page_internallunakombucha.com/

Limit here is 8% which sucks but much better than a few years ago when it was 5%.

Really great chocolate stout by Akron brewery Thirsty Dog. It's creamy chocolately goodness w/ a hint of mint. I love it! 5 stars!

Didn't bobby love beers like that? Yes sir. Left Hand Nitro Milk Chocolate Stout was Bobby's beer. Are you saying it's time for a fist pump? OK!

My taste has really expanded. I'll drink/try a gose or fruit beer, ciders and well... basically anything these days. Having a few of these tonight for starters. It's refreshing.

Yes. I keep wondering when the craft brew industry will become too saturated with breweries and ideas. Not happening anytime soon it appears.

Anybody try this style lately? (Gose) Sours are so "in" right now. With summer coming up it's going to get even more prominent I bet. Anyway, sour & salty doesn't sound especially inviting at first glance. But after trying a few I'm pretty sure I'd rather have one of these than a really hoppy beer. This 1 I tried tonight from a "mix a six" was actually outstanding and true to style. TON'S of flavor. Like sucking on a cherry sour candy. Probably couldn't do more than a couple in a row.. but I bet ice cold in a frozen glass straight out of the freezer directly after mowing in 90+ degree heat they rock.

I would venture to guess it's been 3 years since I didn't have a trace of alcohol in my system. Damn flu.
