I'll be in the area the week of July 4th. Planning on going to Cedar Point. Looking for other stuff to do in the area. My dad is in Cleveland all the time, but quite frankly his suggestions are retarded. Most likely going to the Indians game July 5th. Went to Rock and Roll HOF once already. No interest in going back.

If you hook up with BTTB he can get you a backstage tour of the joint.

One of my favorite places. Just got reservations for Lola's. Never been there. Does Bttb work there?

No we met him for dinner/beer there a few years back and it was a fluke I think that he had run into someone he knew who knew the owner and we got a private tour from the owner. I recall having to make a quick decision on what beer I wanted to carry on the tour and off we went. Christmas Ale was in the can but a week away from distribution, I tried to pry some from the guy a few times but he wouldn't. They use all Wisconsin hops IIRC.

I wanted to go there but waited to long for a reservation and couldn't get in until 10:15. Went to Chinato instead which is a couple doors down. I have mixed feelings about the place though. My old lady got the Zuppa di Pesce which was great but my Braised beef came out cold in the center. The corner alley and chocolate bar are decent places to have a drink.

Now that i'm thinking of July 4th i'm kind of curious how we haven't got in trouble by the cops the past 4 years. Me and a friend put on quite the display, roughly $800 - $1000 worth of mortars.

One of my favorite places. Does Bttb work there? Yea, I'm the official taster. Looks like there's a tour July 5th but you have to register on their site first. Here's the info. Brewery Tours Date: July 5, 2013 Price Range: $0.00 - $0.00 GLBC Gift Shop 2516 Market Ave Cleveland, OH 44113 Phone: 216-771-4404 Event Website: www.greatlakesbrewing.com/brewpub/customer-perks/tours-and-tastings Public Brewery Tours Free Brewery tours are available on the hour on Thursdays from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Fridays from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Please note: Brewery tours involve multiple stairwells, some of which are steep and narrow; please plan accordingly and always use caution while touring the brewing facility. We highly recommend that tour participants wear closed-toe shoes. Tour registrations do not serve as dinner reservations; please see the host for dining arrangements. Registration: Registered guests should meet in our Gift Shop (adjacent to the Brewpub) at least 10 minutes prior to the tour start time to receive their registration tickets. Please plan accordingly around your dining plans-- tours start sharply on the hour and will not be delayed for late guests. Guests who miss their registered tour time are not guaranteed slots in earlier or later tours. Please be courteous and honor your registration! Limited walk-in slots are available for last minute tour guests. Please note: The availability of free tours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays is subject to change due to special bookings. www.greatlakesbrewing.com/events/2420

Damn dinner reservations screwed our tour up just as we got to "command central"!! The main command center looked like something right out of a Star Trek set. That was a fun night. I remember drinking an Edmund Fitzgerald fresh from the tap and thinking... is this candy? or beer? Mmmm MMmmmm good. The best part was the ride home though... ;-) Here's a video about the brewery (tour of kettles and ingredients 6-7 minutes in) and more than you'll ever need to know. You want to know what's fucked up? I'm actually drinking a Dortmunder Gold while I watch the video. O.K. I lied... 2 Dorts.
