Hotdogs suck. The topping are all that matter I probably shouldn't say out loud that I love turkey hot dogs, should I? Do you prefer the regular size or the foot longs?

Went to Holsteins yesterday and got the Gold Standard Burger with Kobe beef. Fucking awesome. I told the manager that it was better than BURGR and she gave us a Frozen Grasshopper milkshake for dessert and were both pretty buzzed after drinking 3/4 of it. Attachments:

The father-in-law makes grasshoppers for the holidays every year, love those things.

she gave us a Frozen Grasshopper milkshake for dessert and were both pretty buzzed after drinking 3/4 of it. Did I not specify that it was spiked with chocolate vodka and creme de minthe? I thought Grasshopper was enough. I guess alcohol and ice cream is the next big thing. All of the ice cream aisles at the grocery stores are like 4 deep with 21+ shit. Apparently there's a big segment of the population that spends their evening pondering "Should I get fucked up, or should I have a banana split?

Sitting at Johnny Rockets in the Milwaukee airport, $31 for three burgers, fries and drinks. Soda is big enough to drown a small dog. Food is coming.

Johnny Rocket's is either a home run or an inning ending double play. Our JR's at the Silverton is the only one in the country to serve Pepsi. Contractual obligation to the property. Didn't stop them from decorating the place with repro 1950's Coke signs or serving Mountain Dew in a Coca-Cola glass.

How do you fuck up onion rings?
Not that I haven't had some fucked up onion rings before.
Like Burger King. Really people? Diced onions? Some of us still have teeth O.K.?
Best ones are of course the ones you make yourself. I vary on batter/breading. Sometimes I want beer batter and sometimes I want pub style breading.
There's my onion ring assessment. One of my favorites. Just behind deep fried mushrooms. I can eat those by the bucketfuls.

Look up Jeff Mauro's recipe for onion rings, best I've ever had and they're baked....
I marinated my onion rings in the Buttermilk overnight, even 3-4 days is ok. Makes them super tender.

At BttB's favorite gyro place. Doesn't have the highest ceiling of all the gyro places, but they've never blatantly fucked up a sandwich like the Greeks have.

I love all the the pictures of Vegas from 1978 in here. Bally's was still MGM Grand, and check out the top of the Flamingo. Attachments:

Called "The Dynasty" as a nod to it's Chinese ownership group. [fart] I'll go there once to get a chip, but otherwise fuck 'em. I like to buy American, and that's a shitty part of town.

Then there's this thing. There was an application submitted to the FAA to build this at the Tropicana. (Because of how close it is to McCarren.) At 650 feet tall, it would be the tallest roller coaster in the world -- by 200 feet.

Us too. We were on our way home from Henderson at like 5:30, so instead of taking a half hour to drive 3 miles on the 215 we got off at Sunset and got dinner. My sandwich was kind of lame and so was my chick's salad. The kids liked their "quesadilla" but it's hard to fuck up a pita with Velveeta. In hindsight, we should have turned right on Eastern and gone to Heidi's.
